Art Specifications:

A custom promotional product is a direct reflection upon your company or organization. We want to ensure your corporate identity is crisp, clean and consistent. Although we use state of the art printing processes, the final product will only look as good as the artwork submitted to us. For these reasons, we list our requirements for submitting artwork below. If you are not able to send a file in these formats, we do have a full feature art department which can work with and recreate your jpeg, tiff, pdf and word files Charges for this service vary depending on the complexity of your artwork and the condition of the artwork you provide us. You will be quoted an art price in advance for your approval.

Proofs:

Unless otherwise requested we will email/fax a PDF proof to you for your approval prior to order processing. We cannot begin production under NO circumstances until we receive this proof back with a signature of approval.

Types of Artwork:

Vector Artwork is made up of mathematical lines and shapes (as opposed to pixels) and will not become blurry when enlarged. This type of artwork is preferred over raster (pixilated) art. The most common vector types are AI, EPS or PDF. To avoid type style conflicts, type must be converted to outlines. Important! Do not place low-resolution graphics into an EPS file. Nesting, placing or importing a low-resolution graphic into EPS file will result in creation of an EPS file that will not work for promotional products.

Raster artwork is made up of many "dots." The resolution of the artwork is measured by the number of dots per inch (DPI). The higher to DPI, the clearer the image becomes. This type of artwork has the potential to become blurry when enlarged past the ideal resolution size. The most common raster types are JPG, TIFF or GIF.

4-Color Process We can digitally print some products at 600 x 600dpi. Supply art digitally, in vector format or at 600 dpi in .tiff or .eps format. PMS color match cannot be guaranteed on process printing. Image colors will vary slightly during production runs and on repeat orders.

Artwork Transmission:

Please email art to artwork@licenseplatesandframes.com. You must send a Copy of the PO or Order to the Sales department as well so they can verify the product and match up the artwork. Files over 20MB must be uploaded to a 3rd party FTP site; we recommend www.yousendit.com. You must email the link to the artwork to artwork@licenseplatesandframes.com and INCLUDE the Job Name and or the PO in the Subject line.
